Ancient Beads and Ornaments Room

 

จัดแสดงข้อมูลเบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับลูกปัดและเครื่องประดับประเภทต่างๆ ที่พบในภาคใต้ตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน โดยในส่วนแรกเป็นการนำเสนอข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับลูกปัด ประกอบด้วย วัสดุที่ใช้ทำลูกปัด กรรมวิธีและเทคนิคการผลิตลูกปัดหินและลูกปัดแก้ว วัตถุดิบที่นำมาใช้ทำลูกปัดซึ่งเป็นหลักฐานที่แสดงให้เห็นว่าชุมชนโบราณในภาคใต้เป็นแหล่งผลิตลูกปัดที่สำคัญแหล่งหนึ่ง

It is displaying basic information of beads and ornaments that were found in the South since the past until the present time. The first part displays general information of beads: material, process and technique of producing stone beads and glass beads. The employed of materials signified that the ancient communities in the South were important source of beads.


   
 

          ตัวอย่างลูกปัดที่ได้มีการจัดประเภทตามรูปแบบ และแหล่งโบราณคดีที่สำคัญในภาคใต้ที่พบลูกปัด ได้แก่แหล่งโบราณคดีเขาสามแก้ว จังหวัดชุมพร แหล่งโบราณคดีเขาศรีวิชัย ท่าชนะ และท่าม่วง จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี แหล่งโบราณคดีคลองราเมศวร์ (คลองท่าโพธิ์) จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช แหล่งโบราณคดีภูเขาทอง จังหวัดระนอง แหล่งโบราณคดีเหมืองทอง (ทุ่งตึก) จังหวัดพังงา แหล่งโบราณคดีควนลูกปัด จังหวัดกระบี่ 

              Samples of beads on display are categorized by form and sources of discovery such as Khao Sam Kaeo Archaeological Site of Chumporn province, Khao Srivichai Archaeological Site in Tha Chana and Tha Muang of Suratthani province, Khlong Ramesuan (Khlong Tha Bodhi) Archaeological Site of Nakhon Si Thammarat province, Phukhao Thong Archaeological Site of Ranong province, Muang Thong (Thung Tuek) Archaeological Site of Phang Nga province, and Khuan Luk Pat Archaeological Site of Krabi province.

อีกส่วนหนึ่งจัดแสดงเครื่องประดับที่พบและใช้กันในภาคใต้ เช่น ตุ้มหู ปิ่น กำไล เข็มขัด จับปิ้ง ปั้นเหน่ง สร้อย สังวาล ฯลฯ ซึ่งทำขึ้นจากวัสดุประเภทโลหะทั้ง เงิน ทองคำ สำริด หิน แร่รัตนชาติ เป็นต้น และยังได้จัดแสดงตัวอย่างการใช้เครื่องประดับที่ปรากฏบนประติมากรรมที่เป็นรูปเคารพทางศาสนา เช่น รูปพระโพธิสัตว์อวโลกิเตศวร ที่พบในภาคใต้สมัยยุคต้นประวัติศาสตร์

          The exhibition also displays ornaments that were discovered in the South such as earrings, hairpins, bracelets, belts, necklaces, etc. that were made up from metal materials including silver, gold, bronze, stone, and so on. Moreover, the exhibition of ornaments that existed on religious images such as Bodhisattva Kuan Yin which was found the South and dated back to prehistoric period are provided as well.
