Glassware Room

เครื่องแก้ว เป็นโบราณวัตถุชนิดหนึ่งที่พบมากในแหล่งโบราณคดีภาคใต้ มีทั้งที่เป็นเครื่องประดับ เช่น กำไล ลูกปัด เศษภาชนะแก้ว และขวดแก้ว ปัจจุบันมีความก้าวหน้าทางเทคโนโลยีการผลิตมากขึ้น จึงมีการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องแก้วในรูปลักษณ์ต่างๆ อย่างหลากหลาย ทั้งด้านสีสัน และรูปแบบ รวมทั้งการตกแต่ง เพื่อความสวยงาม และความเหมาะสมกับประโยชน์ใช้สอยในรูปของเครื่องประดับ ภาชนะ ส่วนประกอบของยานยนต์ และอาคารสิ่งก่อสร้างต่างๆ ซึ่งมีหลายประเทศที่เป็นผู้นำทางด้านอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตแก้ว

Glasswares are ancient objects that were discovered in southern archaeological sites. The discovered glasswares were beads, bracelets, glass containers, and glass bottles. The advancement of technology in the present has been much in progress with development in shape, coloring, forms, and decoration for even more attractive beautiful look to meet the appropriate use whether in home decoration or vehicle accessories and buildings. Many countries are famous of glassware industry.

การจัดแสดง แบ่งตามสีของแก้วเป็นสำคัญ โดยมีรูปแบบและประโยชน์การใช้งานค่อนข้างใกล้เคียงกัน คือเป็นเครื่องใช้ในครัวเรือน ไม่ว่าจะเป็น แก้ว จาน ชาม โถ ขวด ตลับ ฯลฯ มีเนื้อแก้วสีต่างๆ ได้แก่ แก้วสีเขียวใบไม้ แก้วสีเขียวขุ่น แก้วสีเขียวใส แก้วสีทอง แก้วสีน้ำเงินใส แก้วสีฟ้าใส แก้วสีขาวใส แก้วสีชมพู และแก้วสีม่วง ส่วนการตกแต่งเครื่องแก้วแบบต่างๆ นั้นมีทั้งการเจียระไน การเขียนสี การเขียนลายทอง ทำให้เกิดลวดลายทั้งในเนื้อแก้วและบนผิวแก้ว 

Displaying of glasswares is majorly arranged by color with benefit of use that is household utensils such as glass, plate, jar, bottle, etc. with variety colors, shades, and decorations.

 

นอกจากนี้ ยังจัดแสดงเครื่องแก้วตามลักษณะการใช้สอย เช่น ภาชนะแก้วที่เป็นชุดเครื่องแป้ง เครื่องหอม ขวดโหลที่ใช้ในการบรรจุขนม ลูกอม แจกันสำหรับใส่ดอกไม้ เป็นต้น  และยังมีการใช้เครื่องแก้วทำเป็น ลูกทุ่นสำหรับอวนทะเล ลูกแก้วที่ใช้ในการละเล่น เช่น สำหรับเล่นหมากขุม หมากเก็บ ทอยหลุม เป็นต้น

Moreover, the room also displays glasswares by utility such as vanity set, perfume set, jars, and so on, as well as buoyant glass balls for fishing net, glass balls for playing games.




Tai (torch) is an example of a fire lighter the mixed the tree bark with wood oil and wrapped with dry leaves and made in long bar or put in tube. It was used to lighten up and as a kindling to set up fire. Moreover, exhibition and display of various lamps and lanterns with variety designs and materials.
